Residential

Housing, schools, parks, playgrounds. Assumes daily exposure including children.

  • • Exposure duration: 26 years (adult) + 6 years (child)
  • • Soil ingestion: 100 mg/day (adult), 200 mg/day (child)
  • • Exposure frequency: 350 days/year

Industrial/Commercial

Factories, warehouses, offices. Assumes worker exposure during work hours.

  • • Soil ingestion: 50 mg/day
  • • Exposure frequency: 250 days/year

Agricultural

Farmland, orchards, pastures. Considers crop uptake and food chain transfer.

  • • Thai PCD standards are from the 2004 notification and may be updated.

  • • When contamination exceeds standards, site-specific risk assessment may be warranted.
  • • Agricultural standards are often more stringent due to plant uptake and food chain considerations.
